Juniper's Bathroom

We remodeled Juniper's bathroom with the help of Pinterest.  The builders grade oak cabinet we primed with primer the previous owners left and painted with a blue/ grey/ green paint I picked up in the returned paint from Home depot for $7.00. I am going to get knobs soon to finish it out. I paid 16.99 free shipping for the shower curtain from Target mobile. Evidently they have products specifically for their mobile app. Towels and rug cost me total $23.74 I got them with a Cartwheel deal at target they had last month. The shower hooks were the ones we had from the old apartment. I purchased art supplies for 10.63 these will be used later once we get all of the supplies I still need tape and need to make a stencil. The aqua vase was clearance at Target for 3.48. We chose a light grey to paint the bathroom purchased at Dwyer ' s hardware.  We had received a buy a gallon get a gallon free coupon welcoming us to the neighborhood and I went during their summer paint sale.  2 gallons of paint and a brush cost us $24.00. We purchased a shelf for behind the toilet but it was cracked. We will post another project pick when it's final touches are complete.

More new furniture

Mat being quite the handyman has made yet another piece of furniture for the house. I love it! This was made out of re claimed wood.

Half bath before

This is our half bath. We bought the house and did nothing to the room except clean it and put a rug and towels in there. I am so ready for a coat of paint and Jazz in up a bit.

Fun saturday

This morning was a Junie fun morning in the middle of doing laundry. We went to Dwyers Hardware and got the rest of the paint we needed for Juniper's bathroom.  Juniper really liked looking at the colors and watching the paint cans shake up the colors.  We then went to the park for sliding and playing in the choo choo train. A nice trip to the library to get a few books,  then painting with our Lil friend Audrey.

New School year

Juniper has moved up to her new daycare class. In her new room she will be with 2-3 year olds with good verbal development. This is the room for potty training, using please and thank you, and developing math skills. We will be getting some learning toys for her to use for sorting, counting, and patterns.

Zoo time

In honor of my birthday we went on a family zoo trip. We had such a great zoo trip and probably the best one we have had.

Projects

We have 4 house projects going on right now. We are currently getting all of the decor and paint picked out for all 3 of the bathrooms. It looks as though Juniper's bathroom will get to start first. We already have the shower curtain rugs, and paint picked out and purchased.  I just started shopping for the decor items and have 2 things bought. We will be doing a craft project with Juniper's art work for in there and need to get a different mirror and some shelves before we get started. We will be using the mirrors from the half bath and Juniper's bathroom in the master bath remodel.

The last project is finishing up the final look for the living room and fine tuning what we have already completed. A few  tweeks to the curtains, a longer shelf behind the TV, filling the cubby bookshelf with fun stuff and getting something to put behind the brown couch on the wall, and a lamp are just a few of them. We are also going to buy an area rug for the living room which we already have picked out.

Current goal is to have those done by the end of September, weather and money permitting.
